About Us

Loughborough Community Centre (LCC) is a local charity established in 1981 by local Loughborough Estate residents as a positive outcome of the Brixton Riots (1981).

Our current mission is to enhance the lives of local children, young people, and their families, fostering resilience and enabling them to thrive.

LCC offers a portfolio of activities aimed at alleviating the impact of poverty and inequality, at the Max Roach Centre in the Brixton North ward, an area of Lambeth with high levels of disadvantaged.
