VIRTUAL ACTIVITY AT 1pm
We will provide the resources for the Max Roach Squad to come together, eat, play and have fun.
Happy Lunch and Play is a project developed by LCC to combat the impact of COVID-19 on our vulnerable community of families.
This project delivers a non-direct distribution of a freshly prepared nutritious packed lunch and drink with the opportunity to access play resources and essentials.
Our keep in touch approach; is through calls to all our members and for the most vulnerable and increased engagement through our website, social media networks and what’s app groups.

Over 6300 Meal Delivered
140 children / 70 families reached
15 referrals to Lambeth Covid and Early Help Support team
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, the Happy Lunch & Play Project, continues to make a Small and Mighty impact:
6345 Lunches to 140 children.
We will continue to raise the awareness of the project for the benefit of local children to sustain the project for the duration of Lockdown.
A huge thank you to everyone who supported and help us reach our target and beyond during match funding week; 23rd – 30th June.
A grand total of £15157 was raised to support this year Summer Play.
The coming months are going to be an essential time when the Max Roach Centre can help families to overcome the strain of being in lockdown and help children re-merge back into normality through positive play opportunities during School Holidays.
