The preschool works within the framework of The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), with added emphasis on Outdoor Learning. Equality of opportunity for all is a core value that underpins the delivery of the curriculum we provide.
Loughborough Community Centre (LCC) manages the preschool. LCC encourages parents to support in the leadership of the preschool through the election of parent representatives on the board of trustees. The board meet at least three times a year, this ensures that local parents take an active part in the decision-making of the organisation.
Hello from Rosebuds Preschool
We are pleased to welcome children and families back to Rosebuds Preschool this autumn term.
The team have taken necessary steps in the setting to keep children, parents, visitors and staff safe by closely following Government guidelines.
We have gathered valuable experience from delivering an emergency response project during the crisis and from our Summer of Play project holiday project.
The Rosebuds preschool team recognise that this is a challenging and worrying time for parents and that both children and parents may have anxieties due to the pandemic. Please speak to a member of our team about any concerns. They will be able to provide guide you through the latest guidance to provide re-assurance and signpost you to additional services for support, if needed.
We have introduced new procedures to keep children, parents, visitors and staff safe which including: social distancing, hygiene regime, infection control measures such as temperature checks and increase in disinfecting of touch points and play resources.
The Department for Education guidance reaffirms much of what we are doing in terms of hygiene and social distancing.
