Kate has been a local resident for over 20 years.  She first contacted LCC in April 2020 when Channel
4 News featured the work LCC was doing as the first lockdown set in. With the simple aim of – what can I do to help? – she ended up leading a team of local volunteers to help manage the gardens and play fields and is now a trustee and on the board. “LCC was on my doorstep providing care, play and a community hub to so many families. Their work is vital and valued in the neighborhood.  It is so easy to contribute with any spare hour you may have – I’d encourage anyone local to pick up the phone and say – what can I do to help”.
